The Hennessey Venom sounds like some poisonous drink. It’s not a drink. Our feature for today is America’s own Hennessey Venom GT. Production started in 2011 and it has had a number of upgrades. It houses a 7L, V8 Twin-Turbo engine. With a top speed of 435 kmph, a torque of 1,566 N.m, 1,451 horses and an acceleration of 0 to 100 kmph in 2.4 seconds; this is the fastest production car today. This year, it broke the record set by the Bugatti Veyron Supersport, to become the fastest convertible in the world.
In 2013, it was the unofficial fastest production car in the world. It also broke the record set by the Koenigsegg Agera, as the fastest accelerating car in the world *drum roll*
